Shaun White Olympics 2010 video update. Shawn White has lived up to the expectations of millions of his fans and even his critics. Undoubtedly the best snowboarder today, he finally grabbed his first ever gold in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics in the men’s half-pipe snowboarding competition. Shawn White’s performance caused a stir on the internet.
He landed the gold-medal by doing the unbelievable and never done before move - the Double McTwist 1260 !! Shaun White scored 48.4 to get the gold medal. Finland’s Peetu Piiroinen got the silver.

Tiger Woods – Voice Mail and Text Messages – US Weekly
Was Rachel Uchitel story a media frenzy ?!?! That has not been clarified yet; but in a sudden change of events, the focus has shifted from Rachel Uchitel (the alleged mistress of Tiger Woods) → to a new women who openly claimed to be having an affair with Tiger Woods. Jaimee Grubbs - a cocktail waitress in Los Angeles. (Scroll down for pictures). "YES, HE CHEATED", screams the US Weekly cover page.
Jamiee Grubbs, aged 24, told US Weekly that she had been in an affair (which also included about 20 sexual encounters) since 2007. It is to be noted here that Woods got married back in 2004.
People (including me) might be suspicious of Jamiee Grubbs trying to get into the limelight, but her claim that she can come up with a recorded voice mail and racy texts exchanged between Woods and her as proof is quite "unsettling". On the other hand, Tiger Woods released ANOTHER statement that he regrets his transgressions. The definition of transgression is: "going beyond the limits set by a moral principle, standard, law, etc.
He also mentioned again that the rumors of his car accident having something to do with a fight with Elin (his current wife) are malicious and unfounded. He went on to say that he is dismayed about the scrutiny he and his family had to face by the tabloids. He also asked for some privacy (quite humbly and indirectly) for his personal and family matter.

We all make mistakes at some point of our lives. To err is human, right? Thats right, but unfortunately thats not what is
expected of people who are in the limelight, in the media and newspapers almost all year round!!
The mystery surrounding the "single-car accident" hasn't been solved. INFACT, fuel has been added to the fire by the statement published by Tiger Woods' blog saying "This situation is my fault". Rumors have it that Tiger Woods' wife found out about the much hyped "affair" of his hubby with Rachel Uchitel and scratched his face (which caused the injury on his face).
The rumor further states that he tried to run away in his car and his wife, Elin, chased him; and due to this drama, he had an accident. Well, this is where the rumor gets weak (in my view atleast).
Anyways, leaving all that behind, here is a new 'twist' to the whole drama !!
Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend Joanna was cheated on by Woods when he started meeting Elin, his current wife. In a quite unexpected statement, Joanna DEFENDED Elin saying:
Elin is exactly what Tiger needs to get stability in his life. She is mature for her age, humble, and has both feet on the ground.

No one can say for sure how many mistresses Tiger Woods has or has had !! Only he could have clarified this sitution but the following statement rather added spice to it...
Tiger Woods issued a statement on his blog:
As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.

Yale Football – Harvard beats Yale!

But Harvard's Collier Winters threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Chris Lorditch with 1 minute, 32-seconds left to give the Crimson a 14-10 victory Saturday in the 126th playing of The Game before 52,692.
With Harvard still in the running to share the Ivy title, Yale was on the verge of a satisfying upset in coach Tom Williams' first time in The Game. But in a critical decision, Williams tried a fake punt on a 4th-and-22 from the Bulldogs' 26-yard line. The play fell well short and gave Harvard great field position, at the Yale 40, to start the winning drive with 2:02 left. Winters hit Lorditch three plays later.
The Bulldogs, who came in with a 4-5 record, 2-4 in the Ivy League, were decided underdogs, but played inspired football, especially on defense. Alex Barnes' 26-yard field goal and Rodney Reynolds' 3-yard TD run gave Yale a 10-0 lead after their first two possessions, but although they controlled the ball effectively much of the game, with Alex Thomas gaining 124 yards, they could not score again.
On defense, Yale stopped Harvard on downs deep in its own territory twice in the first half, and staged a thrilling goal-line stand, stuffing the Crimson on 4th-and-goal at the 1-yard line with 7:35 left in the third quarter. They held their 10-0 lead deep into the fourth quarter.
But Matt Luft got free behind the Yale defense and hauled in Winters' 41-yard pass to get Harvard (7-3, 6-1) back in the game.
Yale leads in the rivalry, 65-53-8, but Harvard has now won seven of the last eight meetings.
