Katt Williams arrested for burglary and trespassing

Comedian Katt Williams was on his way to Coweta County Jail this Sunday night on charges of burglary and trespassing. According to authorities, he allegedly broke into a house and attempted to steal items, including jewelery.

Apparently, the Coweta County Sheriff Office got a call from an unidentified homeowner on Sunday night stating that an intruder had "gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence." Katt, who turned out to be the main suspect, was arrested on the charges of burglary and trespassing and might be arraigned on Monday afternoon.

Katt Williams was placed under probation before in 2006 at the Los Angeles International Airport for carrying a concealed firearm in his briefcase. He was also arrested last year in New York City for being in possession of a gun (in his car) during traffic stop. However, these charges were dismissed later on.
