Sammy Sosa bleached his skin ?!?!
Sammy Sosa, the famous former slugger, has managed to give his fans a shock again. First, he was tested positive for steroids in 2003. However, this time he hit a bigger home-run by appearing in public with a bleached skin !!
Earlier it was assumed that the loss of skin pigmentation might be linked to the usage of steroids (which have sometimes triggered Vitiligo - a disease in which the skin loses its pigmentation). But the latest update is that the Chicago Tribune spoke to Rebecca Polihronis, an acquaintance of Sosa, who stated:
"He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of (the photo appearance) is just the lighting.
"He is in the middle of doing a cleansing process to his skin. The picture is deceiving. He said, 'If you saw me in person, you would be surprised. When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture ... People who saw him in person did not react the same way. He can't believe it is such a big deal."
The latest picture (seen below) that has stirred this issue was taken at a recent event in Las Vegas.
